Support stockings make your life easier
Leg ailments and venous diseases are among the most common in Germany occurring common diseases. Supportive stockings are also used to provide efficient treatment of these diseases. These are often referred to in everyday language as compression stockings. Support stockings are divided into four compression classes or pressure classes. These start with a moderate compression and extend to an extra-strong compression. Thus, the first compression class is recommended for patients suffering from mild or under-starting varicose veins. This occurs especially often in pregnancies and also in patients who suffer from heavy and tired legs.
The second class of cromping is recommended if you suffer from pronounced varicose veins. This is usually associated with swelling of the legs and superficial phlebitis.
Support stockings of compression class 2 are often referred to in everyday language as thrombosis stockings. Class 3 and 4 are often prescribed by many doctors only in extreme cases. Normally compression stockings of pressure classes 1 and 2 should be sufficient for your needs. Support stockings are available in various lengths. These are available in lengths from knee socks, thigh stockings to pantyhose. There are also numerous variants of these support stockings.
